We managed to get Gwen to eat a little bit more from a bottle this morning! We'll teach this child how much this family likes food eventually.
Jenn tried to breastfeed again before we tried the bottle, and Gwen did really well. She wasn't too fussy and she got a lot closer to figuring it all out. It's just too much work for her, we think.
The bad news is that until she's weaned off the IV she can't go home. And she can't get weaned off the IV until she's eating well. So from talking to the nurse we're guessing that she could still be here for at least a few more days. The doctor will look her over this afternoon and give an actual "official" response, so stay tuned.
But the accommodations are good and she seems happy, so it'll be OK. Jenn'll be discharged today and we're trying to get a room here in the hospital as guests so we can be nearby for feedings/etc.
